Trick or Treat!

Christian Fellowship Community Church
Put on a wonderful carnival for all the kids at the town park.
The girls absolutely had a wonderful time.
Trick or Treating was great although the girls really missed having Daddy here, Katie is not use to being without her Daddy he is the one who normally drags me out of the house for fun family times like this. I'm so glad that CFCC put the carnival on because it helped Katie cope with everything, having fun and doing something Daddy would normally be having us do! This is the first Halloween Trent has missed of Katie's and this is Gracie's first Halloween. I wish things were different but wishing is wasteful at least Katie understands what is going on and why and Gracie won't remember that he was away.

Here are some photos and videos!

Katie walking up to the Blackwell house!

Katie WON the bounce race! Yay!

Katie Jumping around having a blast in the bounce house!

Katie's balloon darts!

Showing how Jesus saves!!

A little cool trick!!

Happy Halloween!!
Hope you all have a great one!

Zuvo Water Filtration System Review & GiveAway!!

When i learned that Zuvo wanted me to do a review/giveaway i was ubber ubber excited! Since giving birth to our new baby girl Gracie we have spent tons and tons of cash on bottled water, not to mention the fact my heart sank when i found out how bad the plastic bottles are for our Mother Earth.
Before i actually read the direction i was a bit overwhelmed thinking there is no way possible I'm going to be able to hook this thing up, but after i sat down and read up a bit it was easy peezy pie, It took less than 5 minutes and no tools was needed!
After i got it all hooked up and ready to go i ran the water for 5 to 6 minutes flushing the system and we we're ready to drink clean, healthy, great tasting water right from our faucet! The filter is good for 6 months or 500 gallons (whichever comes first). I love the fact that i can now just use my faucet to fill my daughters bottles instead of using bottled water, i can use clean water whenever I want without waiting for it to be filtered.

 Better for your Health
When it comes to your body, you should be drinking the healthiest water you can. The better the water, the healthier and fitter your body will be. Tap water may contain lead, parasitic cysts, non-pathogenic micro-organisms and unpleasant levels of chlorine - some of which can pose significant health risks to you and your family, while others make your water taste and smell bad. The truth is bottled water is typically no safer or healthier than tap water and chemicals can even leach from plastic bottles into water.

With pitcher filters, your water is only as
clean as the filter you use. Zuvo Water’s patented filtration process uses nature’s own cleansing process right in your kitchen. It treats non-pathogenic organisms, taste and odor contaminants, reduces aesthetic chlorine, lead, and tiny particulates. The result? Healthy, clean, great-tasting water right from your tap.

 Better for your Wallet
Healthy, clean, great-tasting water shouldn't cost a fortune. Over a two-year period, Zuvo Water is a fraction of the cost of bottled water or pitcher-treated water. Why overpay for healthy water if you don't need to? The chart below shows just how inexpensive Zuvo Water is compared to other systems. For a detailed explanation of how Zuvo Water saves you money, visit Here!

Better for the Planet
Mother Earth hates plastic water bottles. It takes 47 million gallons of oil each year to produce all those plastic water bottles. The result? Over 1.5 million tons of plastic waste. And plastic pitcher filters are almost as bad, with the average family disposing of 25 or more water filters each year. The Zuvo® Water Filtration System uses only two filters each year and we even help you recycle them.

To purchase your very own Zuvo Water Filtration System visit HERE!
We are giving away the very same Zuvo Water Filtration System i was given to review valued at 229.99$!!

I'm super excited to give this away to one of my awesome readers!!

Try a new recipe and change breakfast

It can sometimes be difficult to think of exciting, new and, most importantly, healthy options for morning breakfast. Too often we fall into the habit of preparing a bowl of cereal or a few slices of toast with a hastily scraped-on layer of butter before dashing out the door. Breakfast in particular seems to suffer the most from the demands of work and family.

Making a breakfast fit for a king is not as difficult as it may seem. There are many ways to make breakfast a memorable, exciting and, yes, easy experience. With a little preparation and a little imagination even the busiest people can have nutritious and filling breakfasts. Anchor Dairy has some suggestions.

Preparation is key. Take some time on Sundays to bake up a batch of muffins or a loaf of wholemeal bread for the week. Blueberries are full of antioxidants and vitamin C and add a juicy pop to breakfast muffins. They take only 25 minutes to whip up and can be reheated in your oven or microwave in the morning for a warm and healthy treat. Check out a quick and easy recipe on Anchor's website.

Scones are not just reserved for afternoon tea. Try them toasted and buttered, with a generous dollop of strawberry jam. Add sultanas when baking to add a fruity kick to the recipe. These scones are most definitely a treat still warm from the oven.

Or try a delicious loaf of banana bread. Make a few loaves whenever you have time and put one or two in the freezer for a rainy day. A couple of slices toasted with a generous spreading of butter is a perfect accompaniment for your morning cup of coffee (or hot chocolate for the little ones). You can find the banana bread recipe and many more on

Remember your five-a-day. Drink a glass of freshly-squeezed orange juice, stew up some apples and add them to your morning yoghurt with a splash of maple syrup. When you consider the fruit in the muffins and the bread you are well on your way to your recommended daily allowance before even starting the day.

One Month...

Today (well technically yesterday)was one month since my husband has been away.
I miss him very much,
I'm just thankful we get to talk daily and ALL day on his days off!
After 8 years we are even more in love then when we first fell in love.
Some people may be happy that we are apart and miserable without each other.
But, that's OK because the saying "Time makes the heart grow fonder" is so true!!
It won't be long and we will be back together and let's just pray there won't be baby #4 come from it..
I love you Trent James with all my heart!

So, I can't sleep ah what's new you say? Well, WALKERS yes, walkers...
You know the kind from The Walking Dead... Yup, that's them!!
I missed the new episode yesterday night thankfully a friend of mine DVR'ed for me.
So i sat here alone in the dark watching it because i just can't get enough of it!!

I mean I'm the type of person whom LOVES horror movies, I just love the rush you get off being scared to living hell-O!!! I guess that's why Halloween in my ultimate favorite holiday!
My Dad was the master of scarey shat!
I recall one year being around 8 or 9 maybe a little younger, well i was taking a bath and i hear a tap at the window... I'm like OMG what was that? My heart started pounding dern near out of my chest.
I sat really really still for a few mins... waited a little longer... nothing..
So i resumed back to washing and playing with my toys.
All the sudden tap tap AGAIN.
This time i said calmly.. Mom.....
She didn't answer.
OK calm down Sharon breath it's Ok.
I stayed still as a statue, i could not move......
Then BAM BAM BAM BAM on the window and a F'ing Freddy face looking at me.
I hauled tail butt NAKED out of that bathroom screaming..
Slid through the kitchen and landed face first into my Mom who was running to see what was wrong.
That is just ONE of the many horror tales my father did to us LOL

It is so quite in this house i can't stand it.
At night is the worse.
During the day the girls keep me so busy i barely have time to think.
Which is how i like it!! Katie has been begging to paint pumpkins so i think that we shall do that very soon.
I had planned to take them to the fair but i decided to wait until the other fair comes to town, it's closer and more people that i know go to that one!
Anyways I'm rambling..

Time to end for now!!

ShowerPill Review & GiveAway!

I was contact by ShowerPill to try there premium antibacterial body wipe!

ShowerPill™ is the hygiene supplement designed to keep you fresh and clean while on-the-go. This large premium antibacterial body wipe is individually packaged to be discrete, yet versatile and big on performance.

Here is a little information for the source!

College Teammates Create Instant Hygiene Supplement...

ShowerPill™ was created by three former college football teammates (Wendell, Wale, and Justin) who wanted to redefine hygiene as we know it today.
As student athletes their daily regimens included class, weightlifting, film study, athletic conditioning, practice and more practice. Like all athletes, they were always looking for products to supplement their training, save time and give them an edge on the competition. To provide immediate results they drank Gatorade™ when they were thirsty, ate PowerBars™ when they were hungry, and used Muscle Milk™ when they needed more protein.
After one of them was sidelined with a potentially deadly bout of bacterial meningitis, they realized that something was missing. They did not have anything to supplement their hygiene to keep them clean and fresh throughout their busy day. It is recommended that athletes shower after every activity, but that is not always realistic. When they found out that athletes were greatly exposed to community acquired MRSA and other staph infections they knew that something had to be done. They set out to create an instant hygiene supplement that killed 99.9% of all germs on the body, had moisturizing ingredients and was easy to transport.
After recalling an old inside joke used in locker rooms among players who wished they could take a hypothetical "pill" to instantly clean their body, the ShowerPill™ Athletic Body Wipe™ was born. It is the ultimate hygiene supplement that is tough enough to clean the dirtiest lineman, yet gentle enough for women.
The ShowerPill™ Athletic Body Wipe™ is now the number one choice for active individuals who are on-the-go.

Not only are these great for athletes but wonderful for Mommy's as well.  I really like these because they are convenient for Mommy's say your going on a trip to the zoo or a theme park you get all hot and sweaty. all you have to do is grab a ShowerPill pack and head to the rest room for an easy clean up!
These are most definitely Mommy approved!!

Gracie's Birth Story

I have never shared Gracie's birth with you, so i thought it was about time i do!
After the loss of our son Junior, i thought i'd never have another child, i was to scared to even think about becoming pregnant again. But after i found out i was pregnant with our Rainbow baby i was a ball of nerves, i worried and stressed the whole pregnancy due to giving birth to a full term still born i was automatically high risk and put on full bed rest for the entire pregnancy, i was sick with her just like my other 2 pregnancies but that was nothing out of the normal for me. Well, on March 28th i had very bad pains.. so bad that my husband called the EMT to come get me, we went to the hospital and after a very long night i was sent home to rest. They said i was not in labor. I slept most of the day then around 7pm i stood up to go to the bath room and a gush of fluid came running down my legs, before i looked i felt deja vu from this very same thing happening with our son.. I looked down and it was blood. I panicked and started screaming for my husband Trent.. he came in and called 911 the EMT came and rushed me to the hospital.
It was not long after i arrived my doctor came to check me and he ordered a sonogram, about 15 mins after the sonosgram he came back to say flat out your having this baby NOW. I was never told why this happened I was so scared, as i lay there holding my husbands hand i cried and prayed that our baby was going to be OK, it felt as though i held my breath for hours, i couldn't breath ...really i couldn't breath and was given more oxygen .. I  knew the doctor had already pulled her out of me and i didn't hear a cry NO CRY?? I looked at Trent and he stood up.. soon as he stood up, I heard it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The most amazing sound a mother can possible hear, the very first cry!!! Our darling rainbow baby Gracie was born a month early via emergency c-section on March 30th 2012 @ 2:30am!

We were not allowed to take photos of the actual birth due to it being an emergency c-section.
Here are just a few of the billion photos I'd like to share with you!

This day was a day full of blessings and rainbows!

Thirsty Thursday!

This morning was just one of those days where you just want to stay in your PJ's in BED all day long, no phone, no internet, no people knocking at your door. I've been sleepless for days now and today i caught up on some much needed rest, I may have not slept all day but i sure didn't do a dern thing the whole morning!!!
Until Katherine got home from school, she has been asking me for months now to make her and Gracie matching Princess dresses, so i went to my craft/sowing room to get started only to find my bobbin holder was missing... so i started sowing by HAND!! I have got to find that bobbin holder!!!
And then to top it off i ran out of the color thread i need... so until i get more thread this week here is the dress in progress!

After that my day got a little better when the mail came and i received a package all the way from Hong Kong of cute buttons from Lots of Buttons, in honor of my princesses being adorable as buttons!
You should really check out all the cute buttons at great prices this company has to offer!

At the end of the day i tucked my girls away in there beds and my sister Stephanie and i shared a nice ice cold crisp bottle of wine to chill out, i normally don't drink but with all the stress I've been under i think this happen to be the best glass of wine i have ever had!
Now that I'm chill and relaxed i think i'll try to sleep!

Oh! Don't forget to VOTE for us!
